A Snickers by Any Other Name Would Taste as Sweet

Snickers Sweet

when
Marvin
rings your bell
on Halloween
he’s there for
bars from
Mars

My whimsical response to Jane Dougherty’s Poetry Challenge #3: Samhain
~ write a sept about Samhain (Halloween, All Hallows, etc.)
Too obscure?  Hey, if you can’t have fun at Halloween, when can you?

Sept: a poetry form of seven lines following the syllable pattern of 1-2-3-4-3-2-1

  1. Yup, clear as mud 🙂 Marvin for me is Marvin Gaye. Don’t see the connection with Halloween except that he’s dead…
Wasn’t it Anita Ward who rang bells? Talk about being divided by a common language! Whatever, it’s a sept that opens up whole new (chocolate) horizons 🙂
