On the tallest mountain
beyond the deepest wood,
the highest keep of
the strongest hold
could claim your heart
as its own,
yet it would be mine
Weaving through the battlements,
the wind would blow,
carrying my name
down the slopes and
through the trees,
the voice of your heart
reaching into mine
My heart’s whisper,
through the trees
and on to the heights,
would reach into yours,
foretell the joy
that would be ours when, at last,
our hearts are joined
This is my reply, with her photo, to Sue Vincent’s Thursday photo prompt – through the trees… #writephoto at Daily Echo.

Thank you.
A bit of fancy , or an analogy of a moment? Both, but no fancy in the realization that followed.

I liked the way you imagined this tall tower from a distance and how the trees frame it, makes it magical. It led you to a way to join two separated hearts, lovely! Hugs, Robin
