      Yes, they could be, but it was not my intention to have one smoothly flowing thought, which is why I utilized a break. Haiku can have a break after the first or second line, creating a juxtaposition, which is what I have done here. The first two lines can be read as a thought, or the last two lines can be read as a thought, while the first thought can lead to the second.
