When the Moon Fell in Love with the Sun

Crossing the night sky,
the moon
leaves no mark.

The true test
is in reading its path
as it kisses
the sun.

The scent
at the nape of
your neck
during our first eclipse
lingers.

From the far side of the moon,
it’s not an eclipse.

This is our era.

The five word prompts for The Secret Keeper’s Weekly Writing Prompt #77 are moon, era, scent, mark and test.
