tomorrow’s – Shadorma

Opacity

tomorrow’s
longing for closure
like today’s
will not end
nor will it lessen the loss
grief lays upon us

This is my twenty-fourth shadorma using a photo from my WP Media Library for Eliot Dybden’s Shadorma November (ShaNov) at Along the Interstice. A shadorma has six lines with no rhyme or meter, except for a syllable structure of 3/5/3/3/7/5.
Photo originally used with the poem Opacity
