receding – Shadorma

Life Encapsulated

receding
with each passing day
memories
of our time
once so important to me
hold little value

This is my twenty-fifth shadorma using a photo from my WP Media Library for Eliot Dybden’s Shadorma November (ShaNov) at Along the Interstice. A shadorma has six lines with no rhyme or meter, except for a syllable structure of 3/5/3/3/7/5.
Photo originally used with the poem Life Encapsulated
