hoarfrost lacing leaves
with winter’s delicate breath
white in morning light
under mistletoe
cuddle paired with loving kiss
sharing fireplace warmth
intimate poem
more delicate than first snow
whisper in the heart
festive Christmas tree
gifts displayed with loving care
always bring a smile

Lovely, Ken. It is a bit chilly here but not anywhere near freezing. Such will be our winter. Only paper snowflakes. Except in the mountains. Maybe we’ll drive up there next month.
